About Arizona’s Family to the Homeless
Arizona’s Family to the Homeless (AZFH) is a faith‑driven nonprofit organization serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, hunger, and hardship throughout Arizona. Our work is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that restoration is possible for every life.
Founded in Mesa, Arizona, AZFH exists to meet urgent needs while walking alongside people toward stability, purpose, and hope. We serve with humility, respect, and a commitment to honoring the inherent worth of every individual.
Who We Are
AZFH was established in response to unmet needs within our community and the growing number of individuals living without stable housing or access to basic necessities. Our approach centers on low‑barrier, dignity‑focused outreach that meets people where they are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
We believe meaningful change begins with compassion and consistency. Our work is relational, trauma‑informed, and grounded in service rather than judgment.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission defines our call to action today, while our vision reflects the future we are working toward. Together, they shape every program, partnership, and plan.
AZFH is committed to restoring dignity, meeting immediate survival needs, and creating pathways that lead from crisis toward lasting restoration.
Founder’s Vision and Faith Foundation
Arizona’s Family to the Homeless is firmly grounded in a faith‑based foundation that believes no life is beyond redemption. This conviction shapes how we serve and why we serve.
The Founder’s Vision speaks to restoration that goes beyond healing—it is transformation. We believe restored lives can return to the very places they were once pulled from, reaching back to uplift others and completing a cycle of redemption rooted in hope and purpose.
Angel Springs Village: Looking Ahead
Angel Springs Village represents AZFH’s long‑term vision for a sustainable, housing‑centered community focused on dignity, stability, and opportunity. This future initiative reflects our desire to move beyond crisis response toward lasting solutions.
Angel Springs Village is currently in planning and development and is not a program or service available at this time. It serves as a guiding vision for long‑term impact and restorative outcomes.
Leadership, Accountability, and Transparency
AZFH is committed to ethical service, transparency, and responsible stewardship. Our leadership, governance, and organizational policies reflect our dedication to integrity and accountability in all areas of operation.
We believe trust is built through openness and consistency, and we strive to uphold those values in how we serve our community and manage our organization.
Our Commitment to the Community
At its heart, Arizona’s Family to the Homeless exists for the community and the lives we serve—lives often overlooked, misunderstood, or forgotten. We believe beauty can rise from ashes and that restoration, dignity, and hope belong to everyone.
Together with our supporters, partners, and volunteers, we continue working toward a community where no one is lost and every life has value.
