Founder’s Vision – Arizona’s Family to the Homeless (AZFH)

This page shares the divine vision given to AZFH co-founder Tammy Paynter—a vision of restoration, redemption, and community transformation. It is the spiritual foundation of everything we do.

Arizona’s Family to the Homeless (AZFH) exists first and foremost for our community and the lives we serve—lives restored from the dust and ashes like the phoenix bird in our logo. We believe in beauty from ashes. The heart of AZFH beats for the lost, the broken, the overlooked, the looked down upon, and the drug addict. Not one of these individuals is beyond redemption. Their lives can be restored.

Restoration is not just healing—it’s transformation. We envision the restored returning to the same pit they were pulled from, reaching back to rescue others, completing the cycle of redemption and restoration until no one is lost, and the pain of the past is left far behind—as this is God’s plan.

Angel Springs Village is the physical embodiment of this vision—a sustainable, affordable tiny home community built to uplift and empower. It will include:
– Affordable housing for individuals and families in need.
– A food pantry and distribution center offering paid jobs in warehouse operations and trucking.
– A community center hosting workshops for job training, healthcare, and nonprofit events.
– Volunteer opportunities for residents and community members.
– Employment roles essential to the village’s operation, including rental management, groundskeeping, and unit maintenance.
– Sustainable technologies like solar power to reduce living costs and maintenance, ensuring long-term affordability and resilience.

AZFH is committed to building a community where restoration leads to purpose, and purpose leads to hope.

Sustainable Support Through Resell Store

As part of the Founder’s Vision, AZFH will also establish a pallet resell store. This initiative will rescue surplus and returned products for resale, creating job opportunities for community members while generating revenue to support the food pantry and other community services. The store will enhance sustainability by reducing waste and reinvesting profits into the mission of AZFH, helping to build a stronger, more self-sufficient community.
